I like the way Robert uses imagery as social commentary. I like the way Robert makes connections to the world as a documentary photographer. His perspective is always sobering and realistic, albeit somewhat depressing to some of us to hear at times. Robert is honest about his opininons about how photojournalism has changed over the past two decades.
Robert visits with advanced visual journalism students at San Jose State University after his presentation. Students stayed on to ask more questions about his work and the field of visual journalism as a career.
