Finbarr O’Reilly, 35, a Canadian photojournalist is this year's World Press Photo of the Award winner. Writing for the National Press Photographer's Association, Donald Winslow, says, "O’Reilly is the Reuters chief photographer for West and Central Africa and is based in Dakar, Senegal. He has been working full-time as a photojournalist for Reuters for less than two years. Before that he was a reporter based in Kigali, Rwanda, covering Africa's strife, poverty, and famine extensively for Reuters." It is worth the time to look at all of this year's winners -- in all catergories -- much of the work is little short of remarkable.
