Southern Oregon University and Blogging at the Fair

Aspyn Gillin, 11, chills out in front of some large fans at the Toys for the Home display at the Jackson County Fair Sunday where temperatures are expected to reach 112 degrees later today.

It's incredibly hot at the Jackson County Fair today -- literally. Our university is giving demonstrations on blogging, podcasting, and other webbish stuff throughout the day.

Lots of people are finding there way out of the heat and coming into our tent, which has terrific air conditioning. Lashes the clown wears an ice pack on her back, but has been hanging out making animal balloons in from of our table for the past hour or so.

Across the table is a Qwest booth and a video game display with rows of machines and young boys playing Battleground 2.
