Nearly 30 years ago, I drove up the dirt drive to a neighbor's house hoping to make some pictures of a farm and the people that lived on it. Since that moment I think the way I have come to look at the world changed forever.
Stomping around Doc's dairy barns and out into the orchards, I realized that photography was a means of communication well suited to the world I lived in.
Since that day, I have come to know photography as perhaps one of the most immediate and emotional forms of communication available to us as a society.
